Im Nationalrat wie im Ständerat geben Abstimmungsprotokolle der Öffentlichkeit Auskunft über die Details der einzelnen Abstimmungen.
Es stehen verschiedene Datenquellen zur Verfügung:

• Die Abstimmungsdatenbank sämtliche Abstimmungen im Nationalrat seit Beginn der 48. Legislatur (Wintersession 2007). Die Stimmen aller Nationalrät:innen sind individuell aufgeschlüsselt.
• Für grösser Datenmengen steht ebenfalls eine API zur Verfügung die u.a. JSON ausgeben kann. Es existiert dazu eine Dokumentation. Auch auf der Seite des eigentlichen Webservice lassen sich Beispiele finden.

• Der Datensatz umfasst alle Volksabstimmungen auf Bundesebene der Schweiz aus 2230 Gemeinden.
• Variablen: Name der Abstimmung, ID der Abstimmung, Canton ID, Canton Name, Gemeinde ID, Gemeinde Name, Ja Stimmen %, Ja Stimmen Absolut, Nein Stimmen Absolut, Stimmbeteiligung %, Eingelegte Stimmzettel, Anzahl Stimmberechtigte, Gültige Stimmen, Vote Date
• Durch die Angabe der Gemeinden-ID ist es möglich das Abstimmungsverhalten der Gemeinden mit anderen Datensätzen des BFS, bspw. zum Bildungsniveau, zu verknüpfen. Dadurch lassen sich Faktoren untersuchen welche einen Einfluss auf das Abstimmungsverhalten haben können.
• Über die Spalte «ID» lässt sich der Datensatz auch mit den Daten von Swissvotes verknüpfen.

Das BAG-Infoportal übertragbare Krankheiten informiert jeden Mittwoch über Infektions- und Erkrankungsfälle (Viren, Zeckebisse, u.a.) in der Schweiz und im Fürstentum Liechtenstein, die durch verschiedene Erreger ausgelöst werden.

The EU Bathing Waters Directive requires Member States to identify popular bathing places in fresh and coastal waters and monitor them for indicators of microbiological pollution (and other substances) throughout the bathing season which runs from May to September.

• Expert:innensurvey zu Parteipositionen zu verschiedenen Themen, z.B. müssen die Expert:innen die Parteien auf der ökonomischen Links-Rechts dimension einordnen. Daraus wird dann der Mittelwert genommen. Damit kann man z.B. Veränderungen oder Polarisierung über die Zeit anschauen.

• The dataset covers over 1300 parties (categorized: e.g. 'socialist', 'ecological', 'christian', etc.) from 1945 until today in over 67 countries (including Switzerland) on five continents. It includes data about the percentage of votes gained by each party and categories regarding their political position (e.g. pro/against military, pro/against Europe, pro/against Nationalism, etc.)

• The „Comparative Political Data Set“ (CPDS) is a collection of political and institutional country-level data for 36 countries between 1960-2023.

• The Comparative Study of Electoral Systems (CSES) ist ein gemeinschaftliches wissenschaftliches Forschungsprojekt weltweit angesiedelter, nationaler Wahlstudien und Wahlforschungsteams. Wissenschaftler aus teilnehmenden Ländern integrieren ein gemeinsames Forschungsmodul in ihre nationalen Nachwahlbefragungen. Die so erhobenen Befragungsdaten werden zusammen mit demographischen Angaben, Variablen zur Wahlentscheidung sowie Daten auf Wahlbezirks- und Länderebene in einem Datensatz zusammengebracht, der vergleichende Wahlforschung mit Mehrebenenperspektive ermöglicht.

• The CSES Integrated Module Dataset (IMD) brings together selected variables from CSES Modules 1-5 into one longitudinal and harmonized dataset. All polities that have participated in CSES Modules 1-5 are included in the dataset. CSES IMD includes over 395,000 individual-level observations across 230 elections in 59-polities, as well as voter evaluations of over 800 parties and 600 leaders. Among several unique innovations of CSES IMD are the harmonization of party/coalition numerical codes within polities across CSES Modules, the creation of a pre-coded incumbent vote choice variable and political information indexes, extensive macro data over a quarter of a century, and within-dataset labels for all parties/coalitions.

The Eawag Plankton Camera allows imaging of planktonic microbes in their natural environment without disrupting or disturbing natural aggregation of species. The camera is a darkfield dual-magnification microscope that uses a USB3 machine vision camera with and embedded ARM-based computer for real-time object detection and recording.

Multilateral development banks (MDBs) play a pivotal role in financing water and sanitation infrastructure projects and thus have a major impact on the development of basic services. Although information about the MDBs' investments is publicly available, it is dispersed and not easily comparable. A comprehensive compilation of MDBs' water and sanitation investments has long been lacking. To address this gap, we assess water and sanitation financing by the three MDBs most relevant to Africa and Asia between 1960 and 2020: the World Bank, the African Development Bank, and the Asian Development Bank. We compile a new dataset by drawing on 3,639 water and sanitation projects and assess territorial trends, technology choices, distribution of financial burdens, and reforms to institutional arrangements. We find that MDBs' investments align with changing patterns of urbanization and increasingly finance sanitation infrastructures including non-sewered technologies. However, our results also suggest that institutional reforms have addressed utility efficiency through investment in equipment and skills rather than through increased commercialization and private sector participation. The leverage effect of MDB investment on private financing is negligible, whereas co-financing from local governments dominates.

In this project we analyze substances of abuse and their metabolites in wastewater as independent indicators for community-wide consumption. Various markers are monitored: Drugs: cocaine (benzoylecgonine), crack (AEME), amphetamine, methamphetamine, ecstasy (MDMA) and cannabis (THC-COOH). Opioids: cough suppressants (codeine, dextromethorphan), heroin (morphine), methadone, oxycodone and tramadol. The analysis of municipal wastewaters for drugs and their metabolic products to estimate community consumption is a developing field, involving scientists working in different research areas, including analytical chemistry, physiology, biochemistry, sewage engineering, spatial epidemiology and statistics, and conventional drug epidemiology. This page presents the findings from studies conducted since 2011. Data from all studies can be explored through an interactive tool, and a detailed analysis of the findings of the most recent study, in 2023, is presented.

Global Land Ice Measurements from Space (GLIMS) is an international initiative with the goal of repeatedly surveying the world's estimated 200,000 glaciers. GLIMS uses data collected by the Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer (ASTER) instrument aboard the Terra satellite and the LANDSAT series of satellites, along with historical observations. The GLIMS initiative has created a unique glacier inventory, storing information about the extent and rates of change of all the world's mountain glaciers and ice caps.

Die weltweite Initiative CAMELS hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, vergleichbare hydrometeorologische Daten für möglichst viele Einzugsgebiete bereitzustellen. Der entsprechende Datensatz für die hydrologische Schweiz wird als CAMELS-CH bezeichnet. Er enthält für den Zeitraum 1981 – 2020 für 331 Einzugsgebiete umfassende Kennzahlen und Zeitreihen zu Hydrologie, Meteorologie, Landnutzung und vielem mehr.

Damit sich die Schweiz auf den Klimawandel einstellen kann, sind detaillierte Kenntnisse zu den möglichen Auswirkungen auf Gewässer und Wasserhaushalt notwendig. Der Bundesrat hat daher das Bundesamt für Umwelt beauftragt, hydrologische Grundlagen für Anpassungsmassnahmen bereitzustellen. Dazu gehören die Erweiterung des Wissens über hydrologische Prozesse, das Dokumentieren der bereits beobachteten Veränderungen sowie die Berechnung von Zukunftsszenarien, welche teilweise auf der vorliegenden Plattform angeboten werden.

Der «Hydrologische Atlas der Schweiz» HADES ist ein Gemeinschaftswerk der Schweizer Hydrologie und stellt seit mehr als 30 Jahren hydrologische Grundlageninformationen, Spezialwissen und didaktische Medien einem breiten Kreis von Nutzerinnen und Nutzern zur Verfügung.

The database covers 37 advanced capitalist democracies between 1973 and 2013 and identifies a total of 12,426 reform policy changes (i.e., policy discontinuities) in the following 13 policy fields: active labor market policies (almp), competitive and product market regulation (comp), corporate governance (gov), education (edu), employment protection legislation (epl), financial reform (fin), health care (hc), industrial relations (ir), non-employment benefits (neb), pension systems (pen), privatization (pri), tax policies (tax), and vocational education training (voctr).

This metadata refer to the dataset containing the list of all-know and verified records of non-indigenous species (NIS) in Europe’s seas, last updated in October 2022, and used to produce the EEA marine indicator on "Marine non-indigenous species in Europe's seas". The data is updated with a cycle on six years.

Die Nationale Grundwasserbeobachtung NAQUA liefert ein landesweit repräsentatives Bild über den Zustand und die Entwicklung der Grundwasserressourcen, sowohl in qualitativer als auch in quantitativer Hinsicht.

Nitrat überschreitet den Grenzwert von 25 mg/l im Grundwasser landesweit an 15% aller Messstellen. In überwiegend ackerbaulich geprägten Gebieten liegen die Konzentrationen an knapp 50% der Messstellen über dem Grenzwert. Grundwasser enthält von Natur aus nur wenig Nitrat. Für Grundwasser, das als Trinkwasser genutzt wird oder dafür vorgesehen ist, gilt gemäss Gewässerschutzverordnung GSchV ein Grenzwert («numerische Anforderung») von 25 Milligramm pro Liter (mg/l). In den letzten zehn Jahren wurde dieser Grenzwert landesweit an bis zu 18% der Messstellen der Nationalen Grundwasserbeobachtung NAQUA überschritten.

• Das Schweizer Haushalt-Panel (SHP) ist eine einzigartige sozialwissenschaftliche Längsschnittstudie. Seit 1999 befragt die jährlich wiederholte Panelstudie private Haushalte anhand einer Zufallsstichprobe. The Sea Ice Index provides a quick look at Arctic- and Antarctic-wide changes in sea ice. It is a source for consistent, up-to-date sea ice extent and concentration images, in PNG format, and data values, in GeoTIFF and ASCII text files, from November 1978 to the present. Sea Ice Index images also depict trends and anomalies in ice cover calculated using a 30-year reference period of 1981 through 2010. The images and data are produced in a consistent way that makes the Index time-series appropriate for use when looking at long-term trends in sea ice cover.

Die Niederschlagsmengen können von Jahr zu Jahr stark variieren. Seit Beginn der Messungen lässt sich für die gesamte Schweiz kein eindeutiger Trend feststellen. Im nordöstlichen Mittelland hingegen haben die Niederschläge im Winter zugenommen. Für alle anderen Regionen der Schweiz sowie zu den Jahreszeiten lässt sich keine klare Tendenz beobachten. Allerdings sind Starkniederschläge in der Schweiz häufiger geworden.

The Unified Sea Ice Thickness Climate Data Record, 1947 Onward is the result of a concerted effort to collect as many observations as possible of Arctic and Antarctic sea ice draft, freeboard, and thickness and to format them consistently with clear documentation, allowing the scientific community to better utilize what is now a considerable body of observations.

• V-Dem provides a multidimensional and disaggregated dataset that reflects the complexity of the concept of democracy as a system of rule that goes beyond the simple presence of elections. We distinguish between five high-level principles of democracy: electoral, liberal, participatory, deliberative, and egalitarian, and collect data to measure these principles. The data goes very far back till the end of the 18th century and also reflects how countries and their form shifted through time.

The dataset contains normalised EQR (environmental quality ratio) values for biological quality elements (BQEs) such as phytoplankton, phytobenthos, macroalgae, angiosperms, macroinvertebrates and/or fish in rivers, lakes, transitional and/or coastal waters. A list of spatial object identifiers with selected attributes, reported through WFD and WISE Spatial data reporting, is added to dataset as spatial reference.

The WEI+ provides a measure of total water consumption as a percentage of the renewable freshwater resources available for a given territory and period. The WEI+ is an advanced geo-referenced version of the WEI. It quantifies how much water is abstracted monthly or seasonally and how much water is returned before or after use to the environment via river basins (e.g. leakages, discharges by economic sectors). The difference between water abstractions and water returns is regarded as ‘water consumption’.
